Use Gamesteel from your agent.

Add the Gamesteel program to your agent with one command, sign in once, then ask your agent for a game. It does the agent’s work on your machine, and keeps your games on this website.

Thirty-one agents, each its own way

The program runs through Node.js. The first time your agent asks it for something, the program opens Gamesteel’s sign-in in your browser: log in and Allow. It models in 3D with Blender when Blender is installed, and builds Android apps with Java and the Android SDK when they are.

npx gamesteel@latest connect lists all 30 agents and which of them are installed, npx gamesteel@latest connect claude sets one up, and npx gamesteel@latest connect claude --print shows what it would write, for adding it by hand.

The big AIs' own agents

Claude
npx gamesteel@latest connect claude Adds the Gamesteel program to Claude Code’s settings, ~/.claude.json: a server named gamesteel that runs npx -y gamesteel@latest. Or run Claude Code’s own command: claude mcp add --scope user gamesteel -- npx -y gamesteel@latest. The first time your agent asks it for something, the program opens Gamesteel’s sign-in in your browser: log in and Allow. It also lets Gamesteel’s tools run without asking, and gives Gamesteel two minutes to start, in Claude Code’s own settings, ~/.claude/settings.json. Checked against its maker’s documented format; not yet run with a live model. Claude Code’s MCP guide
Claude Desktop
npx gamesteel@latest connect claude-desktop Adds the Gamesteel program to Claude Desktop’s settings, ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json: a server named gamesteel that runs npx -y gamesteel@latest. Quit Claude Desktop fully, from the menu bar or the tray, open it again, and allow Gamesteel’s tools when it asks. Checked against its maker’s documented format; not yet run with a live model. Claude Desktop’s MCP guide
ChatGPT · Codex
npx gamesteel@latest connect codex Adds the Gamesteel program to Codex’s settings, ~/.codex/config.toml: a server named gamesteel that runs npx -y gamesteel@latest. Codex runs Gamesteel’s tools without asking you each time. To be asked first, set default_tools_approval_mode = "prompt" in its table: setting Gamesteel up again keeps it. Checked against its maker’s documented format; not yet run with a live model. Codex’s MCP guide

The first time your agent asks it for something, the program opens Gamesteel’s sign-in in your browser: log in and Allow. Gemini CLI starts no servers in a folder it does not trust: when it asks, trust the folder you work in (or run /permissions trust there). With gemini -p, add --skip-trust. The chat apps in a browser, such as claude.ai and chatgpt.com, cannot start a program, so Gamesteel does not run in them: use an agent that runs on your machine.
