What Gamesteel is
Gamesteel is a studio for making 2D games that play in the browser. The agent you choose builds through its tools, which the Gamesteel program runs on your machine; this website keeps your games, your account and your plan.
Using it
You may use Gamesteel to make, play and share games. Your account on this website is yours alone: keep its password to yourself.
Your games
What you and your agent make with Gamesteel is yours. Gamesteel claims no rights in your games. Games you make are kept on this website, in the workspace they were made in, only so its members can work on them, and are deleted with its owner’s account.
What comes with it
The fonts, sounds, instruments and art that come with Gamesteel were made by others and come under their own licences, which travel with them. Use them in your games as those licences allow.
Your agent
The agent you connect, such as Claude Code or Codex, is made and run by its own provider, under that provider's terms. What you ask it, and what it reads and sends, is between you and them.
While it is in development
Gamesteel is still being built. It is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it. Keep copies of the games that matter to you.
Plans and the free week
A new account starts with a free week: one game, no exports, and a watermark on what it plays. After it, a paid plan keeps the editor open; without one, the workspace’s games stay there to open, play and download, and nothing in them is deleted. Plans are paid monthly through Stripe, per seat, and Enterprise invoices are sent on request. You can cancel at any time, and your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Changes
